PEC’s specialized Mentor Training Program will teach trainees foundational knowledge about various disabilities, tools and techniques for effective mentorship, and how to engage children with special needs. Once trained, mentors have the opportunity to assist children with all kinds of disabilities at PEC programs, activities and events.
PEC Children Needed for Mentor Training:
Your child will have a great time interacting with newly trained Mentors. We will have activities such as arts and crafts, books, games and more! Bringing your PEC children to this Mentor Training helps the success of our Mentors by providing face-to-face, real time interactions.
